This is the system you started in after first acquiring the Normandy SR If you've been doing this guide in order, this will be your third visit, after some shopping and picking up Archangel.
If you're interested in mining, here's the one Rich planet in the system Omega is in, Sahrabarik:. However chances are this may be your first visit, since the game suggests you recruit Mordin as soon as you get the Normandy SR So, when you first arrive you'll be met by two emissaries the first one is fake , who demands that you meet with the local head of the station, Aria T'Loak.
There's no pressure to do this immediately despite his strong words. Once you've done some shopping and picked up Zaeed and Archangel or not, it's ultimately up to you , you'll want to head into Afterlife and ask Aria about Mordin if you put Archangel in your Squad, he'll respond to the news EDI delivers him. Inside the bar itself, you can go to the bar on the right side of the floor and order some drinks: order three to get intoxicated. Head up the stairs in the back to meet with Aria. If this is your first time, she'll have her men check that you're really Shepard: your response will earn you Morality Points.
However it goes, ask her about Mordin to find that he can be found in the Quarantine Zone never a good pair of words to hear , helping out some sickly people there. She also lets you know that you travel there at your own risk, if you can even get there at all.
The Quarantine Zone entrance is at the southeastern end of the map, at the end of an alley just off the right-hand route to the Markets, although actually getting there won't be as easy as it seems. When you arrive at the door, you'll find a Turian guard arguing with a human woman. When you speak with him, you'll learn about the plague that's the reason for the quarantine.
It doesn't affect humans or Vorcha, for that matter , but members of just about every other race can be easily killed by it. At this point, you can decide to get in using either the white options on the right side of the Dialogue Wheel, or with the coloured Persuasion options on the left. Here's how each will go for you:. This gives you the chance for more Morality Points: pick "Don't worry.
Once inside the Quarantine Zone, all will be quiet Head forward down the initial corridor. Now go through the doorway to meet the main barricade. If you used one of the Persuasion options with the Turian guard earlier to get in, the barricade patrol will let you pass peacefully. If not however they'll start shooting at you, and you'll be forced to kill all three of them. As soon as you enter this door, have your gun at the ready, because two Blue Sun mercenaries are up ahead.
When you begin to walk into the room, to the left of the burning corpses there, they will open fire on you. Try to initiate hostilities here, aiming carefully and maximizing as best you can the damage dealt.
There's plenty of cover around you to use, if necessary. If you Bypass the next door in the room the Power Cells are in, you can Examine a Turian Plague Victim on the ground, deceased, as well as use a nearby Computer Console to hear his four log entries. Things are, clearly, quite serious down here. Exit back out to the main area and head left: you should spot a Batarian Victim on your right on the floor, near a floor lamp.
Speak with him, and you'll get into a surprisingly deep, lengthy and thorough conversation with him. Whatever you pick, the Batarian's life will start failing after you advance the conversation, and you'll have two choices :. After that, you'll be able to pick the Batarian's brain for more information about what's going on. You should also pick "I'll send someone to help you" so that he goes to Mordin's clinic and gets the attention he needs.
With the Batarian conversation over, continue down the corridor, but keep an eye out for a door on the right that you can Bypass it'll have an "Apartments" sign above it. Do so, and you can head down the stairs and into a room with a dead Batarian on the bed. Play the Logs on the Datapad to find out what happened to him.
Continue forwards into an area called Kokomo Plaza, with tables in the middle and a Blue Suns barricade on the far end. You're going to have to use cover here, because as you'll find out, you're going to be under assault from multiple angles. Try to use your special skills, as well as your squad members' skills, and this fight shouldn't be too long.
What makes this battle difficult are the sheer number of Blue Suns Troopers you'll have to deal with, and not so much the strength of those soldiers. While the tables provide good cover and keep you in range of the barricade, tactically your best bet is to run forward along the left side and up the stairs to the balcony, letting you flank them from above.
If you're extra daring, you can run to the far side of the room and flank the soldiers at the top end of the area, using the nearby explosive barrels to devastating effect. Otherwise, be patient and pick off the enemies you encounter one at a time.
Now head through the doorway to the right of the Blue Suns barricade and look for the white-lit doorway with "Apartments" above it. Head inside and ignore the occupants for now to get some goodies. Now talk to the occupants, who were scared to ever let their presence be known here.
Up ahead will be the final battle area before you reach Mordin's clinic, where you'll be fighting Vorcha, Krogan and Varren. To get a leg up, head up the stairs on the right as you approach the battlefield to get to an upper balcony so you aren't stormed.
This is a surprisingly extended fight because more foes walk in just when you think you've gotten rid of everybody. As well, Vorcha heal automatically, so when you attack them you have to kill them all the way, or it'll be like you never attacked them at all after a few seconds. Once the battle is over, pick up all the Thermal Clips you need. Now go through the next door in the room the Element Zero was in to find another apartment, which currently has two looters in it so no goodies for you.
Tali Legion It also seems to suggest that all loyalty missions should be done once ALL squad mates have recruited. Have at it. I'd like to see some ideas regarding this. Feel free to comment on my or others' suggested lists. Note: I realize there was a similar thread a while back. But since we have Kasumi now, as well as it's been a while since our last discussion of the subject, I thought it would be appropriate to make this thread.

Then Kasumi. After that, it's all rather arbitrary. Edited by Collider, 17 May - PM. Collider Status: Offline. By stdepriest - Tue May 18, am. By Sailears - Tue May 18, am. Going to Omega first, because Mordin is suggested - you bump into Zaeed. Archangel's situation seems more pressing, followed by Mordin.
Then off to the Citadel to speak to Anderson - bump into Kasumi. Then the only dossiers available are Jack and Okeer. These are interchangeable I suppose. After that I'm not sure. I know its suggested but will it affect anything if I recruit Garrus first for instance and then Mordin? User Info: voydx voydx Topic Creator 11 years ago 4 interesting, so no effect on the crew dying, or squad not making it, or any "technology to counter the Collectors" figured out in time? User Info: ScottJ10 ScottJ10 11 years ago 5 kinda funny a couple of comments garrus makes when you take him into the quarantine zone.
Just like its predecessor, Mass Effect 2 has an open-ended story that lets you tackle its various objectives in a relatively open-ended manner - and that means some people are inevitably going to be struck wondering what the best mission order for ME2 might look like. On this page, we proffer our suggestion for the optimum sequence of story missions and events in Mass Effect 2.
